Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
What is a blessing? What do you think of when you hear the word blessing? Many things flash across the faculty of one's mind. Such things as jobs, homes, families, freedom and happiness. A blessing is something that contributes to the happiness or prosperity of a person. A blessing is not always a material thing. It can be that of Divine favor.
Count your blessings name them one by one: Count your blessings see what God hath done; Count your blessings name them one by one: Count your many blessings see what God hath done.
